In 2010, a group of friends stood around a boiling kettle, watching the steam rise with the same anticipation as their first pint—and Watch the Pot was born.

What began as a weekend hobby quickly grew into something much more: a journey of shared passion, technical curiosity, and evolving craftsmanship. Brewing on our modest 1-barrel system, we’ve spent the last decade-plus experimenting with techniques, refining our equipment, and constantly chasing that next great idea—because we know there’s always something new to learn in every batch.

But beyond the hops, grain, and gadgets, what really sets Watch the Pot apart is our mission: to celebrate the camaraderie between friends, and honor the family and community who’ve cheered us on (and helped us drink the beer) every step of the way.

We’ll share our brewing adventures, new recipes, gear builds, and the occasional story from the pole barn floor. Whether you’re a seasoned homebrewer, curious newcomer, or just here for the puns, we raise a glass to you.
